Happy Holi from NAG
NAG celebrates a colorful Holi Festival 2025!
Holi, also known as the “Festival of Colors”, is a traditional Indian spring festival primarily celebrated in India and Nepal. Over the years, it has gained global recognition, bringing people together in a joyous explosion of colors. The festival has both mythological and cultural significance:
- Victory of Good over Evil: Holi is linked to the legend of Prahlada and Holika. Prahlada, a devoted follower of God Vishnu, defied his tyrannical father, King Hiranyakashipu, who sought to suppress Vishnu worship. The king’s sister, Holika, attempted to burn Prahlada in a fire, but instead, she perished while he emerged unscathed, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.
- Welcoming Spring: Holi also marks the end of winter and the arrival of spring, celebrating renewal, harvest, and fertility.
As every year, the NAG children embraced the festival with an explosion of color, capturing the spirit of Holi through joyful pictures 🌈✨
